The Rudolph Matas Library is located on Tulane's downtown campus in the Hutchinson Memorial Building - 1430 Tulane Avenue. The library entrance is located on the second floor. Directly across from our building is the Tulane University Hospital and Clinic. The Library is connected to the hospital by a crosswalk on the 2nd floor. Card access is required to enter 1430 Tulane Avenue from the 2nd floor crosswalk. Visitors should enter 1430 Tulane Avenue on the street level and check in with the security desk, then take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
Parking is available on the street or in several nearby parking garages. You may park in either of the two hospital garages. The hospital address is: 1415 Tulane Ave. One garage entrance is on LaSalle Street and the other Saratoga Street. The garages are both connected to the TUHSC by bridges and there is signage to direct you. The HEAL garage (300 LaSalle st) also has parking available. No free parking is available. Be prepared to pay.
Two shuttle services (Green and Pappi) run between Uptown and downtown campus.
